Redditors claim that manipulated ETH network gas price spike is connected to EOS funded bot accounts, which is a possible indication of a corporate network attack. Hacker group BitPico, which previously stress-tested the Bitcoin’s Lightning Network, has begun an attack on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) in June, aiming to have 5000 BCH attack nodes in ~6 weeks. Recently BitPico stated that Bitcoin Cash network is highly centralized with 49% of all nodes run on Alibaba’s facilities.

Coinbase announced that it’s exploring the addition of new crypto assets like Cardano (ADA), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Zcash (ZEC), 0x (ZRX). However, these assets will require additional technical work, so Coinbase team cannot guarantee that all new cryptos will be listed for trading. Coinbase announced its intention to add support for Ethereum Classic (ETC) on June 11, but the engineering work is still ongoing, so adding 5 new crypto assets might take a long time as well. Reminder: Coinbase has been accused for insider trading following launch of Bitcoin Cash (BCH) support in December 2017, so since then a company tries to be more transparent about adding new cryptos.
Bank Launch In Malta For Cryptocurrency
The world’s leading crypto exchange Binance backed a first-ever decentralized bank to be launched in Malta that intends to offer banking services for the needs of tech and cryptocurrency businesses. Binance confirmed to Bloomberg that it has already acquired a 5 percent stake in the Founders Bank at a $155 million pre-money valuation. Founders Bank has applied for a banking license in Malta and is awaiting for regulatory approval. Reminder: earlier this month the Parliament of Malta had passed three bills that establish a regulatory framework for Blockchain Technology.

Various South Korean publications reported that The South Korea Blockchain Association has approved 12 crypto exchanges over the past week, including industry leaders like Bithumb and UPbit, so some people speculate that new money are about to come in
